“Sirenita” was built in 1953 and was used a tourist boat in the harbour of Valencia during 50 years. After 50 years of duty, it was time for its “extreme makeover”. The foundation worked hard to totally reform the boat and adapt it to the needs of passengers with a disability. The new installations include a flat deck, special systems to fasten 8 wheelchairs and a ramp to enter the boat easily. “Sirenita” is the first adapted tourist boat in the harbour of Valencia.

 "Sirenita" takes people with and without a disability on a trip to see the harbour of Valencia. These trips are organised by our students of the specialty "Nautical Tourism".

With the financial help of Obra Social Caja Madrid, bit by bit “Sirenita” tranformed into a completely new boat.
